Express Deliveries

Express deliveries are deliveries requested to arrive at the destination within 3 hours of placing the order according to availability without any surcharge.

Express deliveries are available for most suburbs but must be ordered by 1pm on the same day.

Express deliveries are not available on Sundays and Promotions.
Eg: Valentine’s Day/Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Teachers Day and other promotional days

Re-delivery charges

If no-one is at the destination when our driver arrives, the driver will attempt to leave the delivery in a safe place. They will also leave a message card in the mailbox. Please let us know if you would prefer a redelivery instead of leaving it in a safe place.

If there is no safe place to leave the order, or if the item is undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided, we will attempt to contact you for further instructions. If a redelivery or forwarding address is requested, you will be charged an additional delivery fee equal to the cost of delivery to the suburb provided for redelivery.

Delivery Times

We currently offer delivery 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday except on public holidays.

Order cut off times

Express

If you would like to choose the express delivery option your order should be placed by 1pm on the same day. Express options are not available for Sundays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day,Teachers Day and other promotional days.

Same Day Standard

Orders placed by 1pm can be delivered on the same day to suburbs.

Sundays

Sundays - Orders placed by 10am can be delivered on the same day before 1pm
Flower arrival times.

Delivery Date

We guarantee delivery of your gift on the date you have selected (chosen during checkout), providing there are no delivery problems such as an incorrect address or there is no-one available to accept delivery and there is nowhere safe to leave the flowers.

Express

If you have chosen the express option (must be ordered by 1pm on the same date) your order will arrive by 5pm on your requested delivery date.

Standard Delivery

Orders will arrive between 9am and 5pm for business addresses and between 9am and 7pm for residential addresses. Most standard deliveries will arrive in the afternoon due to courier pick up times and delivery practices.

In general, due to the way our delivery runs are structured, the closer your delivery is to Colombo 07 the more likely it is to be delivered earlier in the day. Some standard (non-express) deliveries may reach their destination before lunchtime (this is our goal) if ordered by 9am on the day of delivery. Additional orders that are placed later in the day are sent on the second delivery run of the day. Areas further away from Colombo 07 may reach their destination later in the day. It is our aim to deliver your gift as soon as possible.

Specific times

We're sorry, we cannot offer specific delivery times. You are welcome to request a preferred timeframe for delivery and we will ask our couriers to try and accommodate your request, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific times.

Special Promotion Deliveries

Eg: Valentine’s Day/Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Teachers Day and other promotional days.

Due to the amount of orders placed on these days our couriers are unable to offer any timeframes for deliveries or accommodate any time specific deliveries.

Public Holidays

We currently do not deliver on public holidays.

Please be aware that if you placed an order for delivery the day before a public holiday and there is an address or delivery problem that we are unable to resolve that day, we will not be able to re-deliver an order until the next business day. If the address was incorrect or there was no-one available to accept the delivery, or no safe place to leave it, due to the perishable nature of flowers there will be an additional fee to remake your order and an additional re-delivery fee.

Most delivery issues are a result of incorrect addresses or someone not available to receive the delivery. We love nothing more than delivering successfully the first time around, so ensuring the correct address is entered and that someone will be available to receive the delivery will increase the likelihood of a successful order.

Courier pick up times

We have several different courier pickup times throughout the day depending on delivery area and time the order is placed.

It is our aim to deliver your order as soon as possible. If you wish to have your order out as soon as possible today, please order by 10.30am and we will deliver within a window period of 3 hours.

We place a priority on express orders which always go out first thing in the morning to ensure they arrive as soon as possible.

Undeliverable Items

If we are unable to contact you or the recipient and there is no safe place to leave the delivery, the delivery driver will leave a message in the mailbox and return the delivery to us to await further instructions.

In order to ensure quick delivery of your gift please provide as much info as may be needed for efficient delivery and double check that the delivery address is correct, as re-delivery will incur a further delivery fee.

In many larger businesses and hospitals, it may be their policy for deliveries to be left at the reception or at a mailroom to be passed on to the recipient. In these cases, the driver will leave as instructed and in line with the destination addresses policies. Due to being beyond our control, we are unable to accept responsibility if the gift was subsequently not passed on to the recipient by the receptionist, the mailroom or a co-worker who accepted it on behalf of the recipient, however, if you are unsure that your gift was received, we would be happy to follow it up with the recipient for you.

Notifications

We like to keep our customers in the loop, and we understand that you're patiently waiting for that phone call from your excited friend or loved one, or just for peace of mind that everything was delivered without a problem, which is why we like to send notifications and updates where possible.

We will send an email to the sender’s email address provided by you on checkout to let you know when the delivery was made. We also include any relevant driver delivery notes in case the you need to relay any further instructions to the recipient to collect their delivery - for example, if the delivery was left with the receptionist.

Our notification service is currently available for approximately 85% of our deliveries. Some areas and deliveries necessitate using outside couriers to ensure timely delivery, and unfortunately in some of these cases we have no confirmation of delivery that we can pass on, however, we may be able to provide further information on request, so please contact us.
